We provide mothers with 'team midwifery' – this means you will be cared for by a small group of midwives working together in the area where you live. This means they can liaise with health and care providers in your local community, such as your GP.

This approach means you will receive the best possible continuity of care that is coordinated to meet your individual needs. It also means that you will get to know one or two of the midwives from your team and will be able to build a relationship with them so that you feel supported throughout your pregnancy and after you have had your baby.

Some of our midwives work in specialist teams to help women with particular needs, such as those with diabetes or other conditions which could affect your pregnancy. We also have Supervisors of Midwives and a Young Mums Antenatal Group to provide additional support.
